Absolutely love this restaurant. my wife and I like the restaurant.

Great discovery! beautiful that we have a chance. it does not look like much from outside, but inside is very authentic and eating was amazing. we tried all the Naan places and they were delicious. all foods were just the correct amount of seasoning, and they were very careful to ask us if we were satisfied with the seasonings. I really liked how they wanted to make sure it was right. I would definitely visit again.

This restaurant is a solid choice for delicious food. The atmosphere and service are both satisfactory.

My husband and I have been to Tamarind three times now and the food has been excellent everytime. In addition, the servers are very nice and also very helpful. If you don't know what something is, they'll take the time to provide pictures and explanations. We also like the noise level in the place. There is plenty of conversation going on throughout the place, however it is always at a respectable level so that carrying on conversations within your own party are easy. The only reason I gave this place 4 instead of 5 stars is that the decor is just a bit on the cheesy or lower-end side. I'm not referring to the Indian decor, just more of the tables having a sort of plastic coating on them (not tablecloths) and things like that. You don't want to take a date expecting high-end atmosphere and then be disappointed. That said, the lighting is subdued and they do put candles and flowers on the tables to try to counter that, making the ambience just a bit odd. It does help keep prices down though and my husband and I will continue to go for the great food and people.
