Jijonenca - Orihuela

Came in for a meal and was pleasantly surprised at the food and service. Milkshakes are unbelievable and they will do any combination of the 72 flavours they have for you!

Although I love a full English as much as the next man I don 't want one in Spain so it was great to find this Spanish bar/cafe. Very good coffees and freshly-squeezed orange juice complemented some rolls and tapas to make a splendid breakfast. Friendly service and a reasonable price made it 'excellent '.

Quick efficient and handy not expensive the decaf cafe co leche was as good as any the snacks were very good i have used a few of these when out and about in different spots in Spain !

Fresh juice and a really good and surprisingly large ice cream overlooking the ocean on Guardamars lovely boardwalk, worth a visit.

We love this typically Spanish restaurant and pub. The food is excellent and I have never tasted calamari as good. Another great feature is that they cook and sell their own bread in the attached bakehouse. A speciality of the house, as the name might suggest is that they have a variety of jijon (turron, nougat) another Spanish favourite. The interior is smallish but there is a large area outside for the good weather which is most of the year round. A great feature is that it is half way down to the beach from the village centre. A family business with pleasant staff and a great cook.
