Buttermilk - Orange

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The portions were generous, with hearty fried chicken and great side dishes. The greens were incredible, and I was glad I didn't have to travel to LA for them. My only minor critique is that the space was small, but considering we're still in a pandemic, I understand. Overall, it felt like I got two meals for the price of one, and everything was delicious. Let's continue to support our local establishments!

We decided to check out this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the four-piece meal with macaroni and cheese and tater tots, which was incredibly delicious—the best roasted chicken I've had in quite a while. I'm already looking forward to returning to try one of their sandwiches. The customer service was excellent, and they even let us sample an additional dish. We're so glad we discovered this place and will definitely be back. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention their extensive selection of local beers!

I recently visited a new restaurant and absolutely loved it. Buttermilk Fried Chicken, located in Old Town Orange, offers some of the best roasted chicken I've ever had. The creamy corn and vinegar drizzle complemented the meal perfectly in a delightful Southern style. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. I appreciate how the city of Orange is supporting small restaurants by allowing them to close off certain road sections near the circle to create outdoor seating. This initiative is a great response to the challenges faced during the pandemic, and it allows these cherished spots to thrive. At night, the Orange Plaza Paseo takes on a charming, almost Parisian vibe, offering something special that So-Cal residents often overlook. I highly recommend bringing the family and checking it out!

Great place for lunch. Your chicken sandwiches are amazing!!!! You can choose sharp if you want. You also have some really delicious curly pommes.

I had the 3 piece with corn and Mac Cheese. Delicious!! The chicken was perfect and not too oily. You know how after eating fried food you feel sluggish? I don't. They definitely use quality ingredients and prep. That honey sauce is amazing! You will not regret coming here.
