Roadside Diner - Omemee

Great little spot to lunch when travelling through on Hwy 7. Convienant and food and service is great. Home cook type food.

Good spot for a stop and eat. Good food...Good service! Mixture Canadian fare and Chinese. All cooked from scratch so add an extra 15 minutes ...well worth it!

Stopped here for lunch today while my wife and I were out for a motorcycle ride. My wife had a chicken salad sandwich, I had a clubhouse sandwich. Both were good in quality and quantity. The service was very good. I think it was the owner's son. I will return.

We have eaten here a few times , every time it has been very good. This time we ordered the dinner for 6. There was only 5 of us and we had a bunch to take home with us, so we probably should have just done the dinner for 5 if we didn't want the delicious doggy bag.The chicken balls had large pieces of chicken in them and were not full of filler like other places do . All the dishes were tasty. We will definitely be back . It's always nice to support a small family run restaurant with a delicious menu !!!

Right along Hwy 7 in downtown Omemee between Peterborough and Lindsay. Handy spot while travelling through. Good lunch food and diary products, such a ice cream. Recommend this spot when looking for something simple and reasonably fast.
