Amsterdam Falafel & Kabob - Omaha

The falafel is yummy, and the green sauce isn’t really spicy but is a great complement to the dish. The curry fries weren’t as good as I hoped. But overall this is a solid to-go spot with a vegan option.

They don’t practice good food safety. Using bare hands to handle ready to eat food is never ok. The kitchen is also not open floor plan so you can’t see the proper preparation of the food. Since they don’t know how to handle food properly, but claim items are vegan. There is most certainly cross contamination.

Famished from a fun morning of pickleball, I was craving falafel. (Don 't ask why; I don 't know! Ha... Anyway, a quick search led me here, and it sure fit the bill. There was a whole lot of goodness packed into the to-go box which was prepared for me impressively speedily, and it was completely devoured almost as quickly. It was pretty middle-of-the-road street food , yet just the sustenance I needed.

Absolutely delicious, been going there for over a decade and always consistently fabulous.
