Bidra med feedbackThis felt like a regulars kind of place, but had to try this quirky place out. I love fried chicken and it looked great, but I did not care for the breading or greasiness of the chicken. The colesaw and macaroni salad were not good to either of us. But you can watch the raccoons if you are willing to stay until it has been dark for an hour or so.
The Alpine Inn is one of a kind, great food, great service and a family atmosphere. I brought my four kids mid-day knowing that most the wildlife is nocturnal but we still got a little show and my littles who are 9 and under loved it! The food is some of the best chicken in the state if you're a fried chicken person. We loved the gizzards, wedges, fries, wings and all the sides. Drinks were very good too and it's a local establishment of over 50 years! A huge plus for us as we like to support local. We will definitely be back again in the evening so the kids can see the nocturnal wildlife!
Super busy, but the chicken is soooooo worth the long wait! The crew here works so hard so be nice to them!!! And tip well!!!
We enjoyed an unusual experience at this restaurant last evening. It is known for the delicious fried chicken and raccoon guests, but what makes it special are the friendly, hard-working, nice staff! They offer genuine RESPECT and KINDNESS to all. Special shout out to Jamie and Evie for ensuring a wonderful experience! Thank you from the Rutherford’s
