What an unexpected gem in a place you wouldn't anticipate! It feels like stepping into a European coffee shop or one in a bustling city. The coffee was outstanding, and the food was delicious. The owner and her daughter were incredibly kind and attentive. Make sure to stop by if you're in Phoenicia—you won't regret it!

This restaurant holds a very special place in my heart! The food and service are both exceptional. Maeve, the owner's daughter, is my favorite little girl. She has Down syndrome and is often seen in the restaurant, putting on her apron and helping out. Maeve loves attention, so don’t hesitate to say hello to her! The food is outstanding and the prices are comparable to any other place offering high-quality ingredients and flavors! Everything is made to order, and they truly aim to please. The staff, often local kids, are incredibly friendly and pleasant! The establishment is immaculate, decorated with charming odds and ends, from a dog bowl to Maeve’s skincare products! There’s also a lovely picture of Maeve on the wall, along with the story of “Maeve’s Place” and its mission!

The owner is very friendly! During our first visit, two young boys took our orders, but the service was slow, and the macaroni dish was incredibly salty—almost inedible. The pineapple shake was also disappointing; it was watery and lackluster. However, on our second visit, the bagel was fresh, and the caramel macchiato had great flavor. I still recommend this place, but just be cautious about who is preparing your food. It’s a good idea to follow up on your order, as the boys forgot ours the first time, and we ended up waiting a while.

Excellent coffee. Excellent croissants. Excellent cookies. Delicious little cakes. They have a dog menu and it is Leonberger approved. The staff and owner are all extremely friendly and polite and I would definitely return.

Stopped by Maeve?s Place while visiting the Catskills and wow! we really enjoyed our coffee. I got the nutty white chocolate latte and it was right up my alley on sweetness to coffee ratio. The barista who made our coffee was very sweet, and she evenoffered to mix my coffee for me so the espresso is mixed into the drink perfectly. I wish we had enough time to stop in one moretime for breakfast and coffee. Beautiful view with outdoor seating. Would definitely return!
