Guadalajara Grill - Olive Branch

When I eat Mexican food this where I usually go. I 've never paid attention to the price, I usually just pay and sign. Today, 4/27/24, I paid more attn to the price. I inquired about it. I asked what the nca fee was for, and she said card. I said, How is the food a different price than what you originally said? I asked for a receipt, as opposed to only the card receipt. It took the young lady a min to print the receipt as she was tapping on the screen trying her best to come up with a price that matched, but was unsuccessful. Again, the price on the receipt was higher than the card receipt. I tried getting an explanation, and I asked which receipt was the correct one. She said the receipt she had just given me which was the itemized receipt. I said we 'll, that 's not what you charged. I asked again, so which receipt is the correct receipt, and she pointed to the card receipt. I said to her, You just said the other one (itemized) was the correct one. She did not know what to say or think. The manager and a waiter were standing there also, and the manager could not explain. The waiter looked at it and could not as well. Everyone was looking crazy and dumb in the face. I told them not to be trying to sneak extra charges in there for more money because I know how much taxes are, and I also know how to do math, and it did not equal out to the charge she gave me with taxes and nca charge. From now on, IF I return, I will be paying close attention to the fess, and for anyone else that goes, be sure to do the same.

Service has gone down.... No Mas! Taco Bell is in the same parking lot....I'll go there next time!

I order the carnitas to go. And they were very tasty. I would recommend them and order them again.

We ordered based on the menu price. When we cashed out, everything was a higher price. We couldn't really get a good explanation. We would have ordered completely differently for my son if we would have known in advance the correct prices. will not be going back because of this.

I have always ordered take out when I am traveling through town and I have never been disappointed.
