Hakon Guesthouse Cafe - Olderdalen

Stopped by here randomly on a long road trip through Norway! The Thai food here is excellent provided by Siam cafe catering. Make a stop to fill your belly here if you are on the road! Absolutely loved the lamb in red curry.

Very clean, new rooms with good beds and modern bathrooms good home made asian food with friendly staff compared with what is available elsewhere in this area it is highly recommended.

The place is perfect for one or more days. very friendly. room very clean I advise you that I come back here.

Great for travellers, clean reasonable prices, with cafe/restaurant

I have booked a few days before my departure this guest house and it only offered non-refundable rooms and I do not recommend anyone to do this. I have never imagined that my SAS flight would be cancelled due to a personal strike, so I had to cancel my entire trip as no flight was offered to me and therefore I am not responsible for the situation. I contacted the guest house through the Expedia app and they did not react and they did not respond to the phone. this guest house is dishonest and greedy because it is the high season to leave this room again. I note that all 15 other hotels of my canceled trip have agreed to repay me, and only this pension has not rejected any refund. I do not recommend this type of money-hungry facility and all hotels or pensions that only offer non-refundable overnight stays, because the future of the trip seems quite uncertain between kovid, fuel prices, the excessive price of car rentals that have tripled for several months, numerous strikes in airports, flight restrictions. ... only for repayment systems
