Benares Cucina Indian - Old Toronto

Its a nice found in downtown. It's hard to find good food in downtown, but this one is exceptional, mind boggling taste. All what we tried surprised us with spices and taste. I would recommend and go Back again and again. Only one draw back is that their service charge is 17%, which is too much on top of tax. you end up payin too much for what you ate.

This place has amazing Indian food. Tried the butter chicken and the chicken curry, both taste great. One of the best butter chickens I have had. It is pricey though, so be warned, but the food I believe is worth it.

Benares Cucina Indian is a great authentic Indian restaurant! It?s not like the other so called ?authentic?restaurants in Toronto! I don't even know where to start, this place is fantastic! Best indian food I've had in Canada. Cosy, warm atmosphere with beautiful hand carved and painted wood panels on the walls and ceilings. The service was amazing; attentive and professional, and everything is very clean. Even the toilets are exquisite with hand painted tiles and intricate brass doors. The music is soft and pleasant. As a bonus most tables have outlets for charging your phone if you are traveling as I was. I no longer live in Toronto but this place is now a must for every visit!

Excellent interior, good welcoming staff and authentic Indian taste. These are the things that one would expect from any restaurant and you guys did all of that. Loved the 1st experience. Definitely will recommend to others.
