The best donuts in Kansas City! The Old Fashioned is my #1 personal favorites, followed by my #1b favorite of the GIANT Apple Fritter. The texture of these donuts is unprecedented and the taste is beyond words. What makes it even better here that the prices are literally HALF by LaMars for a much better donut. I don't waste any more with the yellow box company; You shouldn't. Just make sure you are here early because they sell, or better yet, just place your order the day before and you will be covered.

Update: You have finally come back to me today. You have problems with the staff due to the Kovid as we are all. All we ask is communication to know what's going on. I guess they answer. You've got the second best donut I've ever had, so that's the only reason I'm back despite their garbage customer service. The biggest problem with KC Donut Co is not communication. There is no warning when they are closed. There is no answer if you call them or message to try to make sure they are open. They just IGNORE their customers. It's beyond development. I will change my report if they ever decide to react to me and do a better job that manages their business. They closed today and nothing but a sign on the door. Stop the time of people and post something on your Facebook or really any place where we can check your vacation / changing hours.

Sold Out Closed I'm sorry we're not here, although our opening hours say we should be here. Gee, did you drive here? Oh, I'm sorry, but we can't seem to care enough to make enough donuts to keep our shop open during our advertised hours I've been trying to buy a donut from this place about 4 times last year. Never open, always closed. He made it around 3 years ago in the door and they had about 3 greasy sad donuts left, who looked terrible, and I went without buying one. Don't waste your time and gas. Go somewhere that actually keeps their posted hours and actually has donuts for sale.

Not open, no donuts in the display. Only Donut Shop on the way to work that opened at 5:30. Was disappointed that it was closed.

KC Donut on Santa Fe is close to my house but I usually drive 25mins to another shop because they have donuts at 8:30am. KCs Donuts are good.......if they have any. If you don 't get there by 8am you won 't have much to pick from. They don 't sell out because they have a line out the door, they just don 't make enough. Today at 8:30, no donut holes, no strawberry filled, no long johns, and several other varieties out of stock. Try telling a 5yo everytime you go to get them donuts that they are out of the simple staple donuts. To the owner, make more donuts and get more business. Thanks
