I see it's been a few years since the last review, and obviously something has changed since our last visit. we've never been in a golden chick and we thought we'd try it for weeks. we have a sick friend and we decided to pick up a family meal for her and her family and then take a home for us. we arrived at 5:30 a.m. on a Sunday night, and the place was completely empty, giving me a restless feeling. the area is not great, but it was on the way to the house of my friend, so we went to order it. we have two orders of 8 pieces mixed plus orders from okra and coleslaw. we took her and her family and then went home to eat. we were really...read more

I have the number two w mixed offers fried okra and some fries. I would like to express how delicious and tasteful the food is. I was surprised to find that his even better then churches huh. I'm a tough church fan who was always like I was a bit tangible to try this place. it was my first time and it won't be my last. the personal was friendly eating was hot and ready just a few minutes after our order. definitiw one of my new favorites. it is from I-40 almost to sixteenth, but its worth on the way. I wish I had something to go. I can't expect to go back and they have free refills. in any case my new favorite.
