Buttersweet Cupcakes Southside

I pre-ordered six cupcakes for a friend's birthday, but the day before the celebration, she had a family emergency and we decided to postpone. I called to cancel the order, expecting to lose my money since it was a pre-order. However, Ashley was incredibly understanding and offered me the option to pick up my six cupcakes another day. I returned over a week later to collect my order, and there were no issues at all. She even remembered me! I will definitely continue to order from Buttersweet for future birthday celebrations.

*All of the clapping hands emojis*! This place is absolutely incredible. Without a doubt, they have my favorite cupcakes in the metro area. I'm completely obsessed with their quality. I can always grab a dozen before any event and be confident that they will be a hit. I've also tried their breakfast offerings. The coffee is delicious, and the staff is accommodating when it comes to adjusting ingredients to your preferences. However, I’m not a huge fan of the breakfast food itself; it's decent but not exceptional. But hey, this place isn't called ButterSweet Breakfast for nothing! I tend to be very particular about cake and cupcake flavors, but I've sampled several here and haven’t disliked any of them! My favorite is probably the strawberry, with yellow confetti with chocolate icing coming in a close second. Plus, they often have half-priced day-old dozens, and I absolutely love that.

This was terrible! I spent $40 on 6 cupcakes through DoorDash, and I'm shocked by how bad they are! They are incredibly dry, with a texture similar to thick cornbread. The strawberry cupcake has no flavor at all. I actually had to check if I accidentally ordered from a vegan bakery or something—it was that disappointing. I don't know if they were just old or what, but I have NEVER had a worse cupcake! Don't waste your money.

Sign on the door says open until 7pm and online says open until 7pm. Showed up at 6pm and the door was locked and they were closed.

Love the cupcakes and everything they have the protein bites are great and the staff is kind and gives you advice on what is good and popular!
