Bidra med feedbackI have wanted to come here for some time. A great location on the Parade at Norwood. We had a selection of starters for lunch and it was stunning. The burrata was so fresh, the zucchini flowers were amazing, the scallops were delicious and the olive ascolane were perfect. Service was spot on and the coffee was great. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful service and delicious truffle pasta. The gnocchi was beautifully light too. Great night out eating Italian!
Really impressed by the quality of the service, every staff was very polite and helpful even if it was very busy! The food is amazing especially the pizzas. Will definitely go back there.
Managed to get a booking on opening night for Gradi as couldn’t wait till it opened! Always happy to see new pizza places open! But, of course that’s not all they can do. Was a very hot night when we went and there were some problems, you would expect that on the first night of customers. I do love the fact they have an automated door and of course that is fabulous for the wait staff carrying bundles of foodie joy outside. Thing is, the door is so large and slow that it let in so much heat every time someone when in or out, that is compromised the air con, and of course the same will happen in the cooler months. The actual décor is lovely, but! And here is my but! The tables are very close together, so close that when the staff or anyone else walks through, it is very hard to dodge knocking a chair or two! That was our problem! I was fine on the padded long seat, but my foodie mate was on the outer on a chair, so every time staff or a customer walked past, he got knocked up! We had to say something, so he moved up a bit and it was a little better, but not much. The staff were fabulous and soooo many of them! So we didn’t get just one wait person, but that’s okay, they were all good. Foodie mate asked for a recommendation of a nice glass of Rose, it was discussed and he came back with a glass of chianti? Mmmm, ok let that one go. Both starving, we asked for some of the house olives $9 and that’s fine, but I am a big fan of a little freebee whilst you peruse the menu! I have been to many Italian restuarants where they just put olives on the table as a gesture, feels right. The pizzas were nice, but I prefer a crispier base (each to their own), also had the prawn pasta with pesto and caviar, in all honesty, the little specks of black caviar were lost in this dish, better to put salmon pearls, pasta excellent though, apparently made in house? Dessert was pretty good. As the other reviewers are saying, it is not a place for romance or bending down on one knee! Pretty noisy and hectic, in saying that, I still enjoyed the atmosphere. Happy to try again as the first night is always the hardest!
Amazing pizzas and very friendly staff. The base stayed crispy throughout and the crust had a nice chew. Good range of craft beers and wines too.
