Lion's Choice - O'Fallon

Nice deal with the 2 for 6 roast beef. Hot and fresh as always. Fries not so good. Cold and double dipped to reheat. Asked for a fresh fries and she just double dipped them again. While they were heating the staff was in the back laughing and whatever. Then she hands me the fries and said nothing. Manners kids!

I am visiting from out of town and had never heard of this restaurant before. It's been compared to a simpler version of Arby's. I decided to try the French dip meal, which, to be honest, didn't look very appealing. The bun was dense and the amount of meat was not very generous. It seemed like a pre-made slab of beef placed on the sandwich in a hurry. The beef itself lacked flavor and I was disappointed, although it was tender. I had to add a lot of salt to make it taste better. The aus jur sauce was mediocre but did the job. The bun was the highlight of the meal - nicely toasted and buttery. The fries, on the other hand, were excellent - crispy, fresh, and delicious. I also had a cookie, which was decent but nothing special. Overall, the meal was okay, but I'm not sure why this restaurant receives such high ratings.

The service at this restaurant is consistently amazing! The fries and roast beef are always cooked perfectly. The lobby is very clean and the drive-through is extremely fast. This is the best fast food spot around! It's truly quick!

Consistency is something I need in a restaurant. It may be a luxury to eat out, but eating is fulfilling a basic need. So it?s nice to know that when I come to this Lions Choice, I?ll be leaving satisfied. The food is fresh, made well, and packed neatly every time. A young lady named Abby helped me today and she, as well as everyone I encountered in the store were very attentive, and made me feel welcome. I would absolutely recommend to a friend.

This Lion?s Choice is very consistent and always has nice people working. It?s a little weird that there?s a bank across the room, but the location is great on the Illinois side. The fries are always hot and the Au jus is always very tasty. Make sure you get the horse radish for that extra special kick!
