In the area of Alto de Santa Catarina in Linda-a-Velha (not far from Lisbon , this café specialized in croissants has been quite a success. The croissants pastry is not as much light puff layered pastry but it looks more like a brioche, but they are still light and soft and better if you order them well done (bem cozido . All the croissants start as simple and one can then order with different fillings inside (sweet or savoury . The simple croissant costs €1.20 and the one with Nutella costs €1.80 and many others are more expensive. They also have very good pies (with chicken, veal, black pig, etc. costing €1.50 which is expensive. The croissants and the pies are placed (as seen on the pictures on a hot surface and they are always served warm. The staff is what is expected for this type of place, polite, untrained and unimpressive. Overall this place seems to be a success and during such hard times for businesses I have heard that they plan to expand to another location. In summary the products are good quality but some are not good value for money.

Staff simpático, serviço ok, espaço muito agradável, bom ambiente, bem localizado para quem mora na zona, croissants saborosos, preços salgadinhos, às vezes optar por uma baguete é melhor escolha. Está aberto faz anos e cada vez estão melhores os croissants
