Fugu Ice Cream Taiyaki - Oceanside

This place is located near CVS. Its a small cute shop that I think families would love. You can get rolled ice cream or soft served topped with a Taiyaki. There is also a free topping center which I think is amazing since most ice cream shops charges extra for sprinkles. I ordered the oreo mint rolled ice cream and it was DELICIOUS. Its topped with a mint oreo and oreo pocky sticks. I have never had a mint oreo and I was surprised how delicious it was. Come here for a date, family time or if you are just craving something sweet.

Expensive! I went in just looking for soft serve ice cream. The servings were small, and I have had far better soft serve. I think this place is better known for other items on the menu, so I can't comment on those.

The rolled ice cream was good and the Taiyaki was great as well. I really like that they have condensed milk and cajeta which is great. It's just 2 people working so it's a little slow but they're pretty efficient : I would come again.

Had a hankering for ice cream and saw this place, everything looked amazing! Unfortunately didn’t get to try it and sweet tooth was left unsatisfied. Guy at counter told us they weren’t taking any more orders as they were closing in 15 minutes and couldn’t sneak in one more. Drove past an hour later and the door was still open, employees just hanging out. 2 stars is based on sugar hankerings still running rampant based on service, sure food would’ve changed it.
