Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Oceanside

Okay, came here on Saturday at 15:52. If I could give this place a star, I would just be based on how I was treated. I went in full intention to buy something, but I asked to use the bathroom, need a code, because I don't want to bring my food to the bathroom and leave it unattended on a table. So I asked a hired one after the code, and she said: ask her while looking at the employee RIGHT next to her to take the order, rather casually and without me. So, I waited for my application and asked the other person to take over the command for the code. She said it's just for customers, and I said I'm buying something, I need to use the bathroom first. then she looks at the other person I asked first as if she would get her permission, then she said, I'm sorry they had to buy something first. So, I said, seriously? I mean, I'm pretty sure I didn't look homeless, there's a large number of homeless in the opposite thing I'm sure is the reason why they have such policy. but, dang, the way they treated this situation is totally sucked and has completely turned me off.

Greatest Dairy Queen, fun place to hang out with friends, grab a Blizzard and have some chill times. This Dairy Queen is Busssin! Great food and vibes for all people in Oceanside CA, good neighborhood with friendly people and good and friendly Atnosphere and the best food in all of Oceanside. Worth the trip from Encinitas for a fun and delicious frosty, and great prices. Good service and a fun place for friends and food.

Good ice cream. I like this place a lot. I take my kids over there when I go to the reptile store. Great place to eat.

Line out the door, average wait in general but fast when considering a line out the door. The place was accurate and efficient with our order. I had never really been to a DQ and so naturally I had a question or two. I wasn't treated like I was dumb, nor was I rushed. So, I really appreciated that. The employee working the register counter was very polite. Despite how busy it was on a Monday evening around 7pm it was well maintained. Better than some of the nearby establishments nudge nudge, Flying Pig. I'll be back.

Good memories. Consistent quality but like everywhere else the prices have gone up. Love the dipped cone and really enjoyed the brownie sundae. Had to drive 10 miles to get to one. Sad there aren't more around coastal San Diego.
