Hooper's Crab House - Ocean City

The crabs lacked seasoning, but the chicken was delicious.

There is a lot to like about Hooper's Crab Shack. Our party tried a number of different items and we all shared them. I am happy to report that everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The service was also very good. A cool feature was that you could order a beer in a take home plastic cup and then get refills on a discount. I will visit again when I am in Ocean City. There were 6 of us in our party, and we ALL loved our food! Service was very good too.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the prices were reasonable. It was the best restaurant we visited all week.

My first night , I had the all you can eat . It was all brought out in one platter and looked great. Decided to end our week at OCMD, and go back to Hoopers. Again, I chose the all you can eat . Presentation this time was poor. Several hush puppies and one small piece of chicken in a basket were brought out. Next some crabs were brought out and dumped out in front of me. Seemed I had to wait for each item. Corn was not as tasty this time either. Not sure whose decision on how the meal is to be served , but it was more enjoyable when it was all in one platter.
