Marcelina’s - Ocala

This restaurant is a true hidden gem! It was our first visit to Marcelina's, and we found our meals to be absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional as well. Although the atmosphere and wine selection weren't quite five-star, everything else was excellent. We will certainly be returning regularly. If you're in search of great food, attentive service, and reasonable prices, you should definitely check out Marcelina's. You won't be disappointed!

I genuinely adore this restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent every single time. I make it a point to visit at least once a month, and I highly recommend that everyone experience Marcelina’s for a delightful dinner.

This used to be our favorite restaurant. Since they are closed on Mondays, we decided to plan our Valentine's dinner for Tuesday this year. We made our reservation a week in advance, but when we arrived, it was chaos. There were no tablecloths, no decorations, and no fresh flowers. While the food and service were still good, what I cherish most is the atmosphere—and unfortunately, that was missing.

Just arrived in Florida for the first time, wife and I had dinner here last night.We both absolutely LOVED this place. Beautiful atmosphere (seating, oil paintings, color scheme decor) and the food was even better..From the complimentary bread garlic olive oil to the appetizers (mozzarella sticks), dinner soup/salad (house salad/cream of mushroom) to the entrees (chicken alfredo/seafood pasta), everything was superb..Service was great, friendly and very attentive.Overall a very, very nice experience. I highly recommended.

We read the great reviews and decided to try Marcelina’s for the first time. Unfortunately we left very disappointed. My linguine pescatore consisted of exactly 3 shrimp, one scallop, some clams and muscles, and what seemed like a pound of the cheweist calamari that had me gagging. My wife’s grouper although better, was overpowered with with an overdose of lemon in the sauce. All of this at prices that were not wallet friendly by any means. The service was fine and our gratuity reflected that. The place is very clean and quaint but that’s not enough to bring us back.
