J J FISH & CHICKEN - Oakland

I always go to fish, but I don't know that it's usually Arabs in there, but now it's a whole series of Mexicans and I don't say anything about it, but my fish has not been properly cooked, my chicken was not crispy and the total food was not the same, so I give this place a thumb down a zero star if I never go again we could go to West Oakland

One of my favorite chickens and fish places in the city love their food, but it's too hard for me. I'm going there when I'm hungry and I have to fix the food. Great service and great people working there. Space is always clean on the inside

I bought gumbo carrot cake, I've been a fan of jj?s for a long time. But the gumbo was spoiled, the cake was shaped. I don't know what happens? But you need people in there who care. It's a shame how far jj?s has gone.

Do you have a seafood plate? Wels was wonderful, Snaper was dry, shrimp, ok enough of him to really say.. a lot about price for what I received (only in my opinion) a good choice would like to try other things, but I am not in a hurry.. Cashier was polite and professional. Establishment was neat..

We just went to get JJ 's and it didn 't disappoint, except for the mac n cheese. I ordered chicken wings and shrimp with a side of mac n cheese, and my gf ordered hot wings. The wings and shrimp I ordered were hot, crispy, juicy, and awesome! The hot wings weren 't crispy, but a little soggy; the fries were killer! is what my gf said about her meal, but she wouldn 't order it again. I 've never ordered the hot wings here because the original flavor is amazing. Now to the mac n cheese... It tasted like it had lemon zest mixed into the cheese, which made it more tangy than anything else. It was kinda runny and wasn 't really good. I took a couple of bites and she took one before we both agreed that the mac n cheese was better in the trash than in our mouths. I won 't be ordering that mac n cheese again anytime ever... Overall, the food was fast, delicious (except the m&c), and flavorful as always and I 'll definitely be back to visit this location next time I 'm in town.
