Portobello's - Oakland

Food is always good. Quieter on second floor. I have been dining here with celiacs for years. But, recent waiter was not helpful at all. A little afraid to go back. Gluten free imperative for celiac people. Maybe waiter did not understand importance of this fact.

We went here for a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner and the food was very good. There was lots of variety and lots of food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our large group. I would recommend it.

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful!! We were with a group of 30, and we had our own room. Everyone raved about their food, and loved it . The lunch menu is vast, and our entrees came with a salad. Prices are beyond fabulous for what you get. The bread was delicious, especially the long garlic rolls. We all can't wait to return.

I went to Portobello’s a few times over the past thirty (30) something years. It was always a well-decorated restaurant on both its inside and on its outside. There was a large parking lot. The waiter was decent, and while the prices for the meals were not cheap, the patrons got a lot of bang for their buck. The chicken cacciatore was delicious, and I also loved the complimentary bread baskets.

Portobello's offers a delightful dining experience with a beautiful ambiance and delicious, fresh food. The attentive and friendly waitstaff contribute to a relaxing atmosphere. The generous portions ensure a satisfied palate. Highly recommend trying out Portobello's for a memorable meal.
