Winberie's Restaurant & Bar - Oak Park

I am sad to see caffe winberie in oak park, il go. when my children were young, this was the only restaurant we went to because of their diverse food allergies. wabberie was our dining room away from home. the former cook knew my children with names and knew what court they made.

I've been going to winbery for many years. Too bad it is closed at the end of the year.

I'm sorry that this oak park is really closed. we went to lunch to remember all the good times we had there. unfortunately it was underused (no surprises there) and the overcooked hamburgers took 45 minutes to come. a sad end for a once reliable good restaurant.

If the resturant had not closed on 12/28/2019, I would have complained to the administration. when the 4 people ordered in my party, it took 45 minutes to come to eat, and the waiter came by only once to tell us that they were so crowded today (we had a 12 midday reservation) that they were far behind. when our food came, they brought out two orders, a few minutes later another order and 10 minutes later the final order. this was completely unpregnant and if they were to remain open, I would never go there again.

My family has enjoyed dining at Winberie’s for the past 30 years. Will miss it terribly!!!
