Bbq House - Oak Island

This will be a very free review. we visit oak island regularly and always eat at jones seafood, because it is one of the best on the island, if not the best. If I don't mistake, this restaurant has been opened since the 1960s, decades longer than any other seafood restaurant on the island. the owners are very friendly, experienced in what they do and they lead a good family business. Therefore they often have a series of customers waiting to get space in the busy summer months. if it wasn't good, the locals wouldn't even come here to eat and this restaurant wouldn't have such a good call. concerning me, they have the best seafood and we are always happy with it. that does not mean that there will never be anything wrong because that would be almost impossible for any restaurant. that is not a perfect world. I noticed that there are some negative reviews on this page; people almost always complain faster than compliments. of all the years that we have gone to this restaurant, we have never experienced one of the complaining ones mentioned in some of the other reviews. they should disregard these reviews and give this restaurant a try. the prices are very fair and eating tastes great. if they are looking for a chic restaurant where they are not worth their money, then they will not be happy here!

Sorry restaurant 2 pieces flounder on large order 10 fries apiece 10 hush welpen for 2 people. the worst fishing area we've ever had

If I'm not mistaken, this restaurant has been open since the 1960s, decades longer than any other seafood restaurant on the island. The owners are very friendly, experienced in what they do and they run a good family business. This is why they frequently have a line of customers waiting to get seated during the busy summer months. If the food wasn't good, locals wouldn't even come here to eat and this restaurant wouldn't have such a good reputation. As far as I'm concerned, they have the best seafood and we're always satisfied with it. That doesn't mean there will never be anything at all wrong because that would be nearly impossible for any restaurant. This isn't a perfect world. I noticed that there are a few negative reviews on this site; people almost always complain faster than giving compliments. Of all the years that we've gone to this restaurant, we've never experienced any of the complaints that were mentioned in a few of the other reviews. You should disregard those reviews and give this restaurant a try. The prices are very fair and the food tastes great. However, if you're looking for a fancy restaurant where you won't get your money's worth, then you won't be happy here!

They don't devein the shrimp and the grilled scallops were unbelievably slimy even after repeated attempts on their part ….NO STARS discusting

Incredible waste of money ..everywhere else is better...fast food is better as it is at least edible
