A&w Canada - Oak Island

I don't think I will be back to this location, Mic Mac Mall. I love A&W but this one is horrible. The counter person that took our order was not engaged with their customer, I felt like I was a bother. He spent the whole time watching and looking at the food court people. The onions on the buddy burger were so burnt the pop was half full and the fries were cold. When I mentioned that the pop was half empty he sad you can get more when you drink that one, really? This person wanted to be any where but at work and it showed in their lack of customer service. I rated it a 2 but really it is more a 1.

Went to the MicMac Mall location today because I had 35 minutes to wait for my bus so I figured that would be sufficient time to grab a quick bite....boy was I wrong.Maybe it's possible at other locations,but definitely not this one.The woman waiting on customers moves painfully slow,takes one order,then waits there for it to come up,slowly bags it and slowly gives it to the customer.....without bothering to attend to the 5 other people in line waiting to order,and not even bother to greet or acknowledge them. Here's a great idea,maybe wait on the other people in line while you stand there waiting for the last oder to cook? They showed me how to take more than one order at a time when I worked at Macdonalds....and I was only 17.Unfortunately I couldn't rate the food and the atmosphere was ruined for me when it took 25 minutes for this woman to serve the 4 whole people in front of me,I had to leave,as I didn't even get to the counter in that time to place my order,and God knows how much longer I d have to wait to get the actual food....Really disappointed in you guys,you were one of the greats.Sad to say I will not be visiting this location again.Train your staff better,or get better staff.

I'm going to put this simply, if you're a fast food restaurant no matter how good you are and you charge $61 for 3 combos and a side of onion rings I will not return. Simple. That is a fast food restaurant charging me sit-down restaurant prices for a couple of chicken burgers and poutine.

A&W is my favorite fast food place. It is not the least expensive but the food quality is good, the onion rings are real and the rootbeer is classic!
