Bidra med feedbackLove this place! We visit often for our lunch as my work place is close toDIfC. Their menu options are good, lot of healthy meal options especially salads and grill. Though it’s a bit pricy it’s worth the money!
You know where to go for lunch on a weekday when you are not in the mood to have your regular, home cooked and packed mundane lunch and you crave for something different and exciting to prep you up... Café Bateel, of course! Well, be prepared to also sleep at work after a heavy meal if you choose to go with my favourite, Chicken Fusilli!! :D The complimentary varieties of warm bread is also something I look forward to whenever I choose to eat here. Food quality and service are at its best! The only con I would say is that the menu has been typically the same for sometime now and I would like to see some change. Thank you!
The coffee usually comes with a date but was missing this time. So now it will be sometimes u get it, sometimes u dont. For a 20 dirhams coffee
Staff really take this place from a 4* to a 5*. They know my daily order, accommodate to my weird habits, and attentive whenever needed. My favourite dessert is their chocolate muffin, it’s so rich in flavour, best choco muffin you’ll have. I also like their breakfast items and salads. Can’t go wrong here!
I enjoyed a working lunch with two colleagues at Bateel in DIFC. Despite the lunch time crowds the service was speedy and we didn't have to wait long before the food arrived. My colleagues ordered Chicken panini with emmental and Grilled Salmon with Quinoa while I opted for the Prawn wrap. All three dishes were nice. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating available and is a pleasant setting for colleagues or friends stopping off for a bite to eat but make sure to check your bill as we were given one from a neighbouring table of a similar value and didn't realise until the waiter asked us for our credit card again so he could redo the transaction.
