Bidra med feedbackWe were in the area for our daughter's soccer game and wanted to find a close place to go before heading over to Busch Gardens. My first impression was that it seemed very clean and I was greeted immediately. They have a great selection of beers as well as a full bar. We decided to split a combo plate with brisket and pulled pork, fries and a salad for sides, with an order of wings. The wings wee good, nothing amazing, but cooked well. However the brisket and pulled pork were amazing! Moist, flavorful, and fresh! The fries were yummy and the salad was really good quality. If we are in the area we will be back! Thanks for a great meal and good beers!
This is the BBQ joint you've been looking for! Clean, spacious, tons of TV for sports, excellent staff who are kind and attentive, very reasonable prices. Good selection of taps and a full bar. Potato skins with pulled pork: loaded and delicious, done just right and a HUGE order. Brisket platter: tender, juicy, not too fatty, great burnt ends. Cuban with pulled pork: delicious, read was on point,, could have used a bit more mustard, will know to ask next time. BBQ pulled chicken sandwich: great lettuce, tomatoes and crisp dill slices. Brioche bun was soft and fluffy. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Side fresh veg, broccoli: broccoli was bright green and steamed to perfection. Side salad: fresh, crisp vegetables! Roma tomatoes, cucumber and not iceberg lettuce. Side baked beans: intriguing flavor, not typical, still good. Side parmesan fries: crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, could have had a bit more parm.
My rating is based solely on chelsea the bartender. otherwise it 's a local small bar with decent food and good people. her name is chelsea and has her twelve year old daughter hang around the bar especially friday and saturday nights, which honestly i don 't judge, she a single mom i 'm sure doing the best she can. having said that: about 3 weeks ago her daughter was sitting around the tables with grown ass men and women (and who knows if she snuck a drink because mommy runs the show.... so i have a 14 year old daughter and if i worked at a bar it would be over my dead body that she hang around , but i digress. the daughter just happened to be sitting next to me, and im a very kind personable guy, so i said hi how are you doing tonight? no intentions behind it. she turns around and im shocked at how young she looks. so i ask her how old she was, she said 12 '!!!! my jaw hit the floor and that was the end of all interactions between us. her mom chelsea the bartender comes outside and berates me in front of everyone. ok. i go there tonight, there were no communication between her daughter and i (shes 12 years old!!! and chelsea berates me and yells at me regarding my two sentence conversation with her daughter from 3 weeks ago. calls me a weirdo in front of my friends, and goes on to tell me im not welcome at that establishment when shes serving despite my many multiple attempts to help her understand the situation 3 weeks ago exactly how it happened. im a good man, a family man who loves thy neighbor. she then came out again as im minding my own business to basically demans i disappear. now i have had a plenty of crappy experiences at various restaurants, but this was the worst. she tried to make me feel like a monster but i know who i am and have family and loved ones to back it all up. it was the worst experience ive ever had in my life (in terms of restaurants and bars im disgusted beyond belief regarding how i was treated. it broke my heart i just thought y 'all should know because nobody deserves to be treated that way. her name is chelsea
Ribs were tender and fell of the bone. Good smoke flavor. More of a bar vibe than a restaurant, which was ok for me.
Been there a few times, chill atmosphere, good food and many different styles of draft beer. Definitely recommend to try their pulled pork sandwich or Texas style brisket, it's soooo good.
