Catrinas Tacos And Tequila - Nowatney

The food was great. The strawberry margarita was refreshing. The owner very personable and nice. I will definitely be back for the enchiladas!

Was looking for Mexican taco places in Tampa. I live in Chicago where there are many Mexican restaurants at every corner so I know a good taco joint when I see one. The decor here is awesome I must say. I am however disappointed with the tacos. I usually receive double corn tortillas and these seem to taste like flour tortillas. I asked for lettuce, tomato, and cheese added to my steak tacos and only received them with only onions and cilantro with a side of sour cream which I requested. The fish tacos can do better, they are beer-battered, but the condiments on top weren't appealing. I would've preferred a beer-battered taco with a marinated cilantro mayo Cole slaw and a Chipotle mayo on top instead. I also wasn't offered a drink menu, I'm sure they sold margaritas here. I didn't want to ask either, it should be given with the food menu if anything. I won't be back here again.
