Bidra med feedbackWe enjoyed a lovely dinner, complete with fabulous homemade soup, on the terrace. The menu offered a good selection of dishes and the wine list, although small, was decent. The breakfast was also amazing.
My husband and I stay in Temiscouata-sur-lac when we are heading to the East coast from the Ottawa/Gatineau region, and found this place on our recent road trip. The restaurant is a nice size, and is decorated with antiques. It is in the bottom floor...of the inn, and there is parking around back. My husband had the table d 'hote menu, which includes an appetizer, main, dessert, and tea or coffee. His shrimp appetizer was delicious! I had the soup of the day, a carrot and coconut milk potage, and both of our mains were steak with fries and salad. We shared the dessert, a chocolate 'fondant ' aka lava cake. The food was well prepared and tasty. Our server is also the co-owner, and was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. It is only about a 30 minute drive from downtown Edmundston, NB.
My experience at Auberge Dolce Vita was fantastic. My friends and I decided to stop near the New Brunswick-Quebec border on our way from Halifax to Ottawa and Trip Advisor helped us find this gem of a place. The inn is conveniently located just off the highway (exit 29) and easy to find. The owners are dedicated to providing excellent service and take pride in their establishment. Danny greeted us at our car, helped us with our bags, and showed us to a comfortable and well-equipped room. His wife, the chef, cooked two incredible seafood dishes for us. The soup, made with a blend of carrot, sweet potato, coconut milk, and melon, was absolutely delicious. Every dish was cooked and presented perfectly. I highly recommend stopping at this place on your next trip or making it a destination itself.
Top notch gourmet experience. All the ingredients came from the region and everything home made, right down to the bread!
This small Auberge on the shore of Temiscoita lake is a hidden jewel. Inside this Auberge a nice atmosphere restaurant and outside dining area are unique, inside you are surronded by antiques and outside you have a wonderfull view of the lake. The service is personnel and professionel, you feel like you are at home. Now the food is so so good WOW,! well presented, hot, fresh and plentifull. To eat the desert trio is a sin, well we were in luck there is Church near by. This desert is unique created by the Chef, bravo. The following morning we had a wonderfull breakfast, again very delicious, the presentation was so beautifull, so much wathering fruit. The service and food again were of the quality of a 5 star restaurant. You have to stop at this unique Auberge!
