Luvburger Nosara

We had a beautiful dinner under the trees in their magical garden. Went very safe and had the big green salad and kombucha sangria. It was delicious, and I feel great day after. My family endulged on all the other gluten free delights and we're very happy. Please don't miss this spot, but based on prior reviews order safe.

Having been there before I was excited to have lunch there on this trip. I had the holy guacamole burger, the rosemary fries and a lemonade. I can assure you that one of those three is not gluten free, I had my typical celiac reaction of throwing up for hours followed by … you know) many bathroom visits. I sadly do not recommend this restaurant for people with celiac disease.

Even though the restaurant says it is 100% gluten free, my 12 year old daughter with celiac had her typical gluten reaction which is throwing up for 2 hours about 2 hours after she ingests gluten. I contacted the restaurant to ask about what could have happened, but they haven’t responded. Our family all shared various items, so it’s hard to say what caused it. Besides that, food was delicious if you’re not dealing with celiac.

All menu interns are GF and Vegan. Their GF deserts were delicious and their pizza was the best GF crust I have had, it’s made with yuca flower.

The recipe for the burger has changed and it was not good. Pizza was great though. But, I got food poising and was sick for a solid 24 hours. I lost a day of vacation. Not worth it.
