Bidra med feedbackI was a bit let down after my last visit to the restaurant. The bartender seemed uninterested and not very skilled. The wait for the food was extremely slow and the showy cookbooks should be kept in the kitchen.
Enjoy as usual, but need sharper knives to cut. Meat. Always good food and atmosphere. A little loud. Bring back carpet! Looks obsolete, but cuts noise
This restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine that is the best I have had outside of Italy. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I am eagerly looking forward to going back.
We drink 30 minutes after sitting. I have our second drink... an hour and half after sitting!! It really says. Started with bread, then curls, then net. Pretty standard I thought. Nup got the entrees, then the bread, because we asked if they would forget it. My Beetroot entree was small, limp and bland. My main calamari, was a small portion with a bit chopped salad parading as an excuse for a salad. It is the type of fare you expect in a pub, not a restaurant. My wife had used the Scallop Entree to serve 4 fat scallops on bowls, delicious. Now it's a kind of game where you try the scallop in a sea of I don't know what. Her head was a Ragu forgotten. I've been here a few times, but not in recent years. I said to my friends from the country who dictated with us how good this place is. It's not. I was embarrassed. Never again.
The meal was delicious (linguini all scoglio), but I was disappointed by the service. When I asked for a small piece of bread to soak up the sauce, the waiter brought out a plate of 4 slices with olive oil for dipping. I reiterated that I only wanted one piece, but was told by the waiter that the chef does not give out bread and that I would have to purchase it. This left a sour taste in my mouth, as a local resident of Norwood, and I will not be returning to this restaurant. There are plenty of other dining options in the area. It is a shame that the chef's cooking was not appreciated, and I have shared this experience with others in the community. Best of luck with improving your customer relations in the future.
