Bidra med feedbackI have just recently dined and was bitterly disappointed. this restaurant was once very good, but now try to reduce cost naturally. I ordered the antipasta and everything I got was a small amount of prosciutto, no salami and especially mortadella (Italian frittz). a bit fine cut red cabbage, small pieces parmesan a couple olives and some roasted brot. most good Italian restaurants know how to put this dish very well together, but this restaurant obviously has none of the usual ingredients and has something that just existed as a star rating. I will not return.
In a few months not have been with this adelaide icon. we sung here on a busy Friday night and have to say that we were very impressed! The Polnta chips were the best we had! and for those with gluten intolerance they are gf! we had pasta, pizza that were also amazing! perfect end of the night with panna cotta and bombe alaska! all we can say is that they ned to save space for dessert!
I went to The European for a big work function and they catered to us really well with a big range of antipasto-style entrees to share and individual pastas. The pastas were all cooked really well and the staff made us feel like we were at a big family gathering.
This place has always looked fairly busy and we were curious as to what the attractions were, as the restaurant itself looks fairly nondescript.
An Long term Adelaide institution that's been serving up good Italian since way back whenCafe convenience with restaurant quality.
