We booked for boxing day lunch. All three courses we had came well presented and was plentiful. We both left stuffed. Everything was cooked lovely and the turkey was so moist. The staff who served our meal where so friendly and helpful. Nothing was any bother We will certainly return

A big group of us went for drinks in the evening, was told last orders at 10:40pm so we went to bar to order and then to be told sorry can’t serve anymore as till was taken… absolutely terrible way to run a pub which shuts at 11pm not 10:40pm

3 of us this time for lunch, we had the festive set menu, the Turkey roast was delicious, nice and tender and plenty of it, we also added extra gravy, The vegetarian option of seed roast I was told was delicious also, only criticism I was told on that would be substitute the salad with potatoes as salad does not really go well with gravy and veg! Staff were lovely and friendly, Coffee great, ambience perfect and very festive, Great job all of you, we will return again if you keep that Chef! Congrats and Merry Christmas to you all xx

Lovely venue, lovely staff, fabulous food, the venue was very busy but we were served in a timely fashion.

Hubby and I had a lovely Christmas lunch here today, served by the friendly Zoe. Starters of king prawns and smoked salmon were a perfect size and very nice. The turkey main course was fab, plenty of moist turkey breast, six different vegetables (we added cauliflower cheese) as well as roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. We were both too full for a pudding but there were several I would have liked! All sat by a nice fire Dropped one star just because the main course could have been hotter. Will definitely return.
