I was alone there ate nice and peacefulKid-friendliness: My waitress was nice

I placed a curbside pick up order and waited 1/2 hour for someone to come out. I called the restaurant several times but no one picked up. I called the phone ordering option and they kept transferring me to the kitchen to ask them if my order was ready but again, no one picked up. I understand they are busy but why have a curbside pick up option if you’re not going to pay attention to it. That’s money wasted for me as I could not go inside to get it, which I’m pretty sure it probably wasn’t even made. So upset!!!

I went today to dine in at IHOP Norwalk thwy had no wait so we were seated right away! Breakfast was nice and hot, everything was good woth the order no complaints. I believe its under new management, everyone was happy and smiling, I would 100% come back soon.

This place is always empty. Is that why servers seem to have an attitude? I have been there when ppl have walked out after waiting for someone to sit them when the place is empty. Or are they so used to this that they disappear after you get your food? And the owner is stingy but must be rich. Why else would they make Ihoppy Hour dine-in only? It can't be to drive business inside cause that hasn't worked for years. Some ppl after the Pandemic still prefer getting food to go. I spend around $80 for Ihoppy hour which is 9 items, tip, they're annoyed with the big order cause they have to work. But don' t worry. If it's dine in only I won't be back. Or maybe I will then just not tip the lazy server since the owner is forcing me to dine in to eat. So tip for takeout, no tip for dining in just like the tips they lose for ppl walking out after waiting to be seated. These businesses have to know they can't have it both ways. Charging outrageous prices then tell us how we can get our mediocre food. Just make it available and let the PAYING CUSTOMERS decide how they want it.
