Bidra med feedbackI really enjoyed this little place, very relaxed mess hall style dining. I found the atmosphere really enjoyable. Dark, moody, industrial feel and music at just the right volume to make create a vibe. Our wait staff was excellent, the food was extremely fast to come out and the drinks were very good . I can highly recommend the Fried Cauliflower with Miso, Corn Bread and Maple Butter and the cocktail known as The Penis Enlarger - funny name seriously good drink! Smores for dessert and so the Lemon Meringue Soft Serve both just wonderful. Really enjoyed eating here, would be great for a catch up with friends as you can order a lot of little dishes and eat tapas style.
Atmosphere was nice but that's where it stopped... the menu was very limited, which is fine if the food is good but this was not. The share portions were tiny and lacking in flavour...we left hungry and dissatisfied

On a Thursday night we were looking for an early dinner before a show in Northbridge. On entering through glass doors we sighted a long bar and 4 long tables, each with about 14 timber top stools-7 each side. Being 5:45 pm we were the first customers. Decor was very rustic but quite welcoming. The stools did look uncomfortable initially but were surprisingly OK once seated. Our greeting was very welcoming and when considering our first drink we were blown away with a variety of 186 items to choose from including a long list of spirits of which there were 33 American whiskeys. We selected wine by the glass which was excellent. The food menu consisted of 14 dishes designed to share, 6 garden salads, 5 speciality animal dishes and 2 sweet items. we started with a very tasty warm corn bread with maple butter. This was followed with coal roasted half chicken served with tortilla wraps, lettuce cups, mayo, chimichurri & hot sauce for $21. We also ordered a watermelon salad with goats curd. The chicken was so tender, flavoursome and juicy. It blended nicely with the excellent salad. Full marks to the chef and the service was quick and cheerful.
