Alfairoz Kebebish - Northampton

On September 29th, 2023, I informed the server that we did not want a salty meal as we had experienced overly salty dishes on three previous occasions at this restaurant. I specifically requested that the chicken biryani rice be mild and without salt. Additionally, we ordered half a chicken and requested it to be prepared with no salt and only mild spice. However, when the chicken biryani arrived, it was all red instead of the traditional yellow color. The rice, chicken, and curry sauce were all excessively salty. Despite asking for a mild curry, it came out very spicy and salty. I also asked for mushrooms in the biryani rice, but was disappointed to find only a few pieces in the box. The overall quality of the meal was unsatisfactory, leading us to discard the entire meal. I feel that we were overcharged and that the chefs may have purposely prepared such poor food to upset us. As someone who has worked in the food industry, I can confidently say that none of the dishes met our expectations, even though we had requested them to be low in salt. We paid over £25 for a meal that was inedible and I am seeking a refund. This will be my last visit to this establishment. The food is overly salty and I do not recommend dining here. The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly since the previous management.

This restaurant, which used to be good, has experienced a decline in quality this year due to the hiring of new staff. I have had the misfortune of receiving bad chicken on two separate occasions. One time, I was able to get a refund, but the other time the manager refused to acknowledge that the chicken was off.

Went to this place for dinner. Had to wait half an hour for what should be fast food. However, once the food arrived, every mouthful was a burst of favour. The complimentary mint and chilli sauces were absolutely brilliant. With improved cleanliness and faster service, the overall experience of a customer could be excellent. Sadly, with the current scenario I am not sure if I would go back again.
