Terrible food! Got a too good to go bag from here and it was so stale and old that it should be in the garbage. Do you guys pick stuff out of last weeks garbage and sell it?

I should have left when the manager refused to seat me until my friend arrived, even though I had a reservation. When my friend got there five minutes later and we approached the counter, he didn’t recognize me. I could understand if the restaurant had been busy, but it wasn’t—it was surprisingly empty, especially since this place has been on my 'must-try' list for a long time and had received numerous positive reviews. Once we were finally seated, we were placed right next to another occupied table, and soon after, more diners were seated on the other side of us. The tables are packed so closely that having an actual conversation is nearly impossible; we were literally just inches apart. Given the price of the buffet, I expected much more, especially for cafeteria-style seating. Ironically, many other tables remained empty throughout our visit. As for the food, the 'hot' buffet options were at best room temperature, despite being in chafing dishes. The cheese from the cold buffet was decent, but the meat was dry in spots, indicating it had been out for quite a while. The waffles were stale, tasting as though they had been made a week ago. I did hear from a nearby table that the omelets were good, but that's likely because we were close enough to overhear their conversation. The hot buffet featured hot dogs cut lengthwise, served with a few green and red peppers—a far cry from what I expected. In hindsight, I wish I had checked more recent reviews that mentioned a change in ownership and a decline in quality. There’s much more I could say about this experience, but I think I've made my point.
