Bidra med feedbackAlmost hidden from view, it's a great place to visit and try at least once. The baozi are delicious, my only concern is they tend to be fairly misshapen when buying the frozen bags.
I tried a variety of their buns, both the vegetarian offerings as well as the beef and carrot and beef and cabbage versions. While they are tasty, I've had better buns elsewhere. But this place beats them in terms of price, very cheap!
This shop is tucked away in the corner and have tried this place a few times. I would say that although it looks cheap, the assortment of buns are really packed with meat ranging from pork with celery, pork with pickled nappa cabbage and my favourite was pork and shrimp. I have tried their beef with onions which oozes with sweetness coming from the onions. I haven't tried their other array of foods but will try it another time. Overall, the buns are soft, the filling is substantial and is a delightful treat to satisfy that bun craving.
We traveled from the US and bought the baozi before we left. It tastes so good and so authentic! This is the best baozi restaurant I have ever been to in Toronto. We bought multiple types of baozi. They were so nice to write the names on the lid of the box with the position of the baozi marked in the box. They also serve other food which we have bought and enjoyed quite a lot. Great place overall!
