Shikara - North Tyneside

Visited to the birthday of friends tonight, the staff are so helpful and friendly! I told them it was my birthday and they give us a free dessert with a radio. eating was amazing, too much, but I would rather have too much than too little! stuffed to the edge and would recommend deffo back and!

Went last night for a meal and Azad was able to squeeze us in last minute! Staff were very attentive, food was delicious and very generous portion sizes and decent prices compared to some restaurants ! Definitely going to be our regular indians from now on!

Had my birthday family meal here. Staff were fantastic, food was out of this world and had the best table in the house. Couldn't ask for more! My 3rd time here and food gets better every time. Thanks for a great night.

Visited for the first time on Valentine’s night, so I was expecting it to be busy! We were shown to our table straight away and the service was excellent! Staff were really friendly and polite. And the food was outstanding! Delicious! It did get quite busy, but we were not forgotten about at all, the staff cleared the table straight away once we were finished a course and they always checked if everything was alright didn’t feel rushed to finish either or pushed out once were were all finished which is good as it was so busy and I expected them to be needing a free table. They were very attentive and it was a lovely atmosphere for Valentine’s Day. The table was set beautifully, I got a free rose and me and my partner each got a free shot of liquor also which was lovely to add to that a heart shaped box and chocolates with the bill was also lovely! Will definitely be visiting again Thankyou for a lovely meal and experience on valentine day, turned out to be incredibly romantic for us

I've been to so many Indian restaurants before but honestly Shikara was the best so far. The Food is full of flavour and colour. Just delicious!! The service was amazing. I never got so good advice in a restaraunt on the food. Thank you for making our visit so good.
