Bidra med feedbackAfter a disappointing Laksa lunch last week, I was determined to rectify things and quench my Laksa craving again. This time I found myself back at Greenwood Plaza at Simply Noodles. I used to a frequent visitor to their Macquarie Centre outlet and know the menu fairly well. The Laksa at Macquarie was reasonable so I hoped it would be an improvement or at least on par. It didn't disappoint this time - the soup was rich, creamy and full of all the usual Laksa flavour. It was spicy, tangy, savoury, sweet, all flavours and textures in one large bowl. The noodles were thicker which had a bit more chewiness and texture as I preferred. It was so satisfying and put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. The Laksa was $11.20, slightly more expensive than those in the CBD. It was worth it because the enjoyment and satisfaction I got out of it was priceless. thernbdiary.com
Had a laksa craving, but short on time & didn't want to brave the heat outside, so ended up here at Simply Noodles inside the Greenwood foodcourt. At this point my expectations wasn't high. So I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the BBQ pork laksa, it was ready really quickly. Aside from the BBQ pork, there were also some tofu puffs & bean sprouts. The laksa soup had a good balance, so wasn't too salty nor sweet. The generous chuck of sambal gave it that extra kick. Overall a good quick lunch option.
Well-founded these guys today after a late lunch. If you ever have to cook these guys at 13.30. Very good Kharkay Tow. Perfect noodles, BBQ pork and sausage and just the right amount of soy. Grief Had it with a side of Chili Sauce, Delish!
You know what? For a place that is set in a nightmare Hell Hole of a shopping centre, Top Ryde, this place is remarkably good.
I've eaten here a few times and usually get the wonton noodle soup to share with my toddler.
