La Penca - North Riverside

I met this place for lunch while I worked in the second layer nearby. I could joke that this must be a good Mexican place because Latino families eat there, but in fact there are many different local families enjoy dinner there. The menu is easy to use, with some basic foods and various meats that can be made with, as well as their specialties, including some seafood dishes. Although I'm a sucker for huge Burritos, I went with a Gordita, with meat, cheese and salad sandwich style between two thick tortillas, and found them quite delicious. Gesellige atmosphere among restaurants, clean, bright and cheerful. No bar, but filled Mexican and Megabrand American beers. A beautiful place to go out or eat with the family.

Fabulous! I don't know who the owner is, but I heard he's a famous mountain bike racer from another country. But I can tell you that this place has the best Mexican food I cost. So fresh, so good spices chosen. My favorite is Al Pastor . OMG every time I eat, I feel like grateful for them to serve me. You'll never be despised. Great food, great service, great place!

Small place in a stripe mall, but unexpectedly good authentic food! Taco Salat was great and actually only the right portion size, although the bowl/bowl appeared more than half empty... Was good, would not hesitate to stop again when in the area!

Good Mexican food and decent service. Prices were somewhat high, but it could be Biden's economic impact on prices. I had the balls. Chiken was delicious.

This is the best authentic Mexican cuisine around. We have been eating from here for over a year and have never had any issues with the food. I love the Al Pastor tacos, they really are delicious. Not bad prices also. 6/5 stars.
