Starbucks - North Port

My Dog and I love Starbucks but we are 1) not adding in tips just because we are promoted to do so (Starbucks is free to pay their staff a living wage) 2) we are cutting back by making our own espresso, iced late, and coffee at home a double shot Iced latte costs a little over $1.25 using vs $6 tip included.

Strange trend of cup not being filled anywhere near the top lately….paying over $8 for a grande and getting a tall is getting old. Heck, over $9 when I tip…. Pretty sure not getting my extra espresso shots either.

Last night I entered the drive-thru at 8:22 p.m. on April 15th, 2023. Even though it was not busy I was not allowed to exit the drive-thru until 8:49 p.m. I was forced to wait almost 40 minutes in a Drive-Thru for my order because the person in front of me knew the Starbucks barista running the window and they proceeded to hang out take selfies and exchange and read each other's phones for almost a half an hour. I could not believe what I was witnessing and myself and the several people behind me we're being held hostage in line. ALL of us were beeping our horns and yelling out of the window to let us exit, and it was to the point that we no longer cared about our orders we just wanted it to be able to go home. When I finally did get to the drive-thru window after yelling begging screaming and pleading for them to move, the short choppy green haired woman that was running the window begin to lie and make up several excuses as to why she made us all wait for 40 minutes. It was a very bad situation, one that has left me in a bad state mentally and I have reported this heinous event to the district manager and the regional manager and I fully intend to file a lawsuit for this crime that was committed at your location last night. NO ONE should be held against their will regardless of the situation.

Good service, but they ALWAYS undercook the grilled cheese. I've been to this location numerous times, always get the same thing, and never once has their grilled cheese been cooked all the way through. Everything else is fine though.

As a former employee and Starbucks regular for 10 years now, I can honestly say this store is perfect never messes up my drink and I’ve been a regular at this location for about a year now. I think they have my beverage memorized and they are all so friendly. The lines are sometimes long in the drive thru but the store I used to be a regular at in Naples… sucks so bad. This location however reminds me a lot of the way Starbucks intends on having its stores and I really hope corporate is proud of this one : Customer service is great, speed of service is great store is well maintained.
