Penny's Diner - North Platte

Eggs and bacon with hashbrowns all in a fat plate. I will never go back

How this place is rated so high beyond me! If you enjoy a dingy half pure place with low quality food, come here. It is a great concept that is very bad. While it was entertaining to see the high-man try to cook, I certainly do not recommend this place. The atmosphere is depressing, the cook seemed upset that he had to cook, and FAR better food can get at IHOP or Dennys for about the same price. We went through vacation and stayed here because it was the 3rd highest reviews from any place in North Plate... We had planned to spend the night in North Platte, but after dinner here we decided that when this was in the Top 3 restaurants, there was no reason to spend another moment in this city so that we moved on. This was the only bad experience in the food we had in a week traveling over Nebraska and Kansas.

Worst restaurant ever! Waitress just wallow on customers!

Keep driving.... I stood there for three minutes which isn't much time but was long enough for seven different staff to look at me.., one to actually glare and nobody would take 10 steps to come over and give m an estimated time. I promise i have shaved in the last 24 hours and i even had my shirt tucked in.... No reason to ignore me. Ive been wanting to stop there for a while.... Glad I crossed that off my list as a wait of time.
