Bidra med feedbackThere was a wide variety of savory and sweet options to choose from at this restaurant. We decided to get a selection of cakes, all of which were delicious, especially the lemon meringue pie. The beef and vegetable pasty was also very tasty, with a soft, flaky pastry. However, on one occasion, we did feel slightly rushed to order as we were bluntly informed that the restaurant was closing. This seemed premature, especially considering it was a nice day with lots of people around. Given that they rely on tourism, it wouldn't hurt for them to stay open a few extra minutes.
We wanted some bread rolls and cake for our meal. Everything was delicious, but we found the price of the rolls to be a bit steep. We visited on June 23rd, 2023.
I was really excited to visit the Wells shop, but sadly, I was quite disappointed. The prices were now very high and I can make better food at home. While Londoners may find it affordable, for locals it's just not worth it.
Every time we visit wells Arthur Howells bakery is first on the list. mostly its the delicious sausage rolls packed with lovely meat but sometimes and equally good is the pasties warm and very tasty .
Can’t remember if it was called caramel or fudge flapjack but it was delicious, topped with a generous helping of chocolate, pretty big slice so enough for two. Egg Mayo with cress bap good too, very reasonably priced compared to other places on the Norfolk coast.
