The Red Lion - North Devon

Went in for a takeaway and it was so nice. Scampi and chips but i asked the chef, tasha, if i could have a salad instead of peas and she kindly obliged. It was just what i needed after a long day at work. The hunters chicken burger was perfect for my partner. We will return for more of tashas cooking soon.

Stayed here for two nights. The room was lovely and the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good too. Would stay here again any time.

We were served several traditional dishes in an environment which was clean, full of character and good value for money. All the staff both in the bar and dinning room were friendly, professional and willing to help. Our server Katy, was particularly helpful. Thank you.

As a resident of Chulmleigh, I ordered 2 pizzas tonight and must say that the Red Lion Special was the best pizza I've had in years.

We were very pleasantly surprised by how good The Red Lion is. Firstly it is much larger than we realised and they even had a function running. The food all round was excellent and really good value for money All of the staff we very friendly Definitely worth a visit and you won’t be disappointed. It’s a really good village pub
