Tropical Smoothie - North Charleston

If you're considering ordering delivery from this place, I strongly recommend going in person instead. The last three times I ordered through delivery, the food was prepared with minimal effort. Both the buffalo chicken wrap and the white cheddar flatbread had very few pieces of chicken. Additionally, the buffalo chicken wrap came with chipotle mayo instead of the requested buffalo sauce, and the smoothies were completely incorrect.

We've visited this restaurant several times since the new year, and while we've always enjoyed our smoothies, we won't be returning. Yesterday, while we were there, my daughter noticed a live cockroach (not a palmetto or water bug) that appeared to be carrying a sac of babies, crawling along the wall near where the smoothies are made. This incident occurred at 8:17.

I visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe today (August 6) at 2:45 PM, but it was closed. What’s going on with that? Have they changed managers? I've noticed that my past few visits haven't been the same.

I stopped here to get a blueberry smoothie . The cashier was nice and they successfully got the whole order I had for everyone correct . Clean place and fast .

My two children and I came in for lunch and my 11 yo son ordered the jalapeño corn for his side. Once they brought the food out and he opened his corn, he didn 't have a fork. I told him to ask the lady for one. When he did, she said they didn 't have any. I turned around and asked how he was supposed to eat his corn and she said, Well, you can go next door to Five Guys and ask them for one. This probably ranks up there with one of the stupidest things ever happening to me at a restaurant. And, I paid .99 extra for the corn my child could not eat. Here 's a tip...offer the customer their money back or offer some chips or something.
