Arugula Fresh - North Bay

We were visiting from out of town and decided to try this place known for its amazing pizza and other dishes. The lighting was a bit dim for my liking, making it difficult to see the menu properly. The small table lamps were cute but didn't do much to light up the place. It was a challenge for all of us to read our menus at the same time and we ended up passing the lamp around. I ordered the Mediterranean pizza, which had a good amount of toppings, especially feta cheese. As a vegetarian, I would have preferred more vegetables on my pizza, but it was tasty and the portion size was huge, enough for at least two people. The dessert wasn't memorable and too sweet for my taste, but if you like Nutella and marshmallows, it might be the perfect ending to your meal. Bon appétit!

During our weekend visit, we had a craving for pizza and luckily stumbled upon Arugula. We opted for takeout, so the service and ambiance were minimal, but the front staff were fantastic. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant was apparent. We ordered a meatball sandwich with delicious potato wedges, a unique salad with a fried egg, and a pizza. While the salad and sandwich were better than the pizza, all the dishes were solid. I would give the salad a 5/5, the sandwich a 4.5/5, and the pizza a 4/5. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

A unique experience indeed, but unfortunately a negative one. The loud music made it impossible for us to have a conversation, and when I asked the waitress to lower the volume, she said she wasn't allowed to. On top of that, the kitchen staff was constantly yelling at the servers in the open kitchen. The dim lighting made it difficult to read the menus, adding to the chaos of the evening. Despite the quality of the food, we will not be returning to this poorly managed restaurant. It's truly a shame.
