Alberts Chip Shop - North Ayrshire

Alberts fish is always fresh and tasty, as are their chips. I’ve tried other shops and Albert’s is the best.

We had fish and chips from here as they were recommended by 2 people. It is £7 for fish and chips and we got a huge portion of chips and 2 fish! Great, we thought. Looks are deceiving..the fish were tasteless. It definitely wasn't haddock or cod. The chips weren't brilliant either. Would I recommend? No!

Got my second, and last order, last night. Totally rubbish meal. Don't understand why people give it five stars. First order was pretty bad. Ordered last night and it was rank! Colour was very pale yellow. Chips were same colour. Although a huge portion, it was inedible and after a couple of mouthfuls, it went straight into the bin. Will certainly never order from them again

Had a great meal with the family!!! Delivery was very fast under the circumstances of covid 19. Everything was very hot and tasty. Would highly recommend the special fish supper it was delicious, so fresh and crispy. Portion sizes were big so nobody was left hungry! Will be ordering again in the future. Recommended highly

The fish is cooked fresh to order. Nice thin batter, which doesn’t overpower the fish and hand cut chips. Yummy.
