Bidra med feedbackIt was our last day in Umbria and we drove to Norcia. While still recovering from the tragic earthquake in 2016, the town is welcoming tourists to their shops and cafes. This restaurant was originally situated in the most splendid location in the village center. Today, they're upstairs in a shopping mall. What didn't change is the spectacular, authentic, homemade menu making this our best dinner out in Italy. Helpful was Sabrina, our hostess who spoke great English and could translate and explain all the house specialties.
In a new location over a grocery since the 2016 earthquake this place looks very unassuming but one look at the menu had me salivating. We were there on a Sunday at lunchtime but were warmly welcomed even though we didn’t have reservations. The experience was a total joy. We were the only English speaking party and there is a waitress whose English was excellent and she was so helpful at explaining the different menu items and there are many to choose. The food was fresh and delicious. In my estimation you can never have too much truffles so I was in hog heaven. We ate well and I would love to return to try more things on the menu. All the other patrons had so many delicious looking food on their plates. I thank the staff for their hospitality. I’m so glad to have found you.
Norcia is famous for its cuisine but this restaurant is, in my opinion, the best in town. We were a large family group and the staff were amazingly helpful. The food was simply delicious. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.
Ho cenato benissimo. Bel servizio nonostante il fatto che non hanno parlato molto di angeli. Con mani e piedi, finiscila.
Grande in tutto....in cibo e soprattutto in servizio.
