Bidra med feedbackThe selection for men is fairly good, but there isn't much pedestrian access. The prices are reasonable compared to other stores, but it's quite a trek from Springfield, as Nixa feels like one big suburb. Additionally, there are no public restrooms or changing rooms, and the store only has a couple of small mirrors.
I was quite disappointed during my recent visit. We brought some great items to donate—a brand new dog cage, some beautiful clothes, and a new bed frame—but the staff refused to accept them. Instead, we're choosing to take our donations to a lovely thrift shop in Ozark that truly appreciates contributions. It feels like this place has become a bit greedy, which is really disheartening.
The fitting rooms are still closed, despite the end of the Covid pandemic. Many of us really need to try on pants, and it's nearly impossible to purchase them without trying them on—especially given the high prices for a thrift store. I won't be donating or shopping there unless they start addressing the needs of their customers.
Edit: They did hold true to their word and they also apologized. So changing my review bc that means a lot.I didn 't want to have to make this post because I initially loved this business, I spend A LOT of money in there. The employees all know me bc I 'm in there so much. 2 days ago I was at the CA thrift here in Nixa and I was over charged for shirts I purchased by 6.00 and I realized on my receipt and I went back in. I know they do not do returns, I 've been shopping here since I moved to Nixa in 2020. I was just wanting reconciliation or maybe store credit. I went back in and the manager John was really rude and didnt say sorry or anything. He said You 've done this before several times... as if i was trying to cheat the company. It was his employee that made the mistake and he couldnt even apoligize. He told me he would add points to my account for me, that has not been done. So he wasnt only rude, he didnt honor his word. This has not been my first problem with them and my points not being taken correctly. For those who do not know, they use a points system. Every dollar spent is 1 point. Like I said, I spend more money than I should in there and I have had on 2 separate occasions, they take my points but they charge me full price. Well I called the owner Larry today because I thought maybe he would be better... He was worse. He said Well there isn 't anything we can do, you just made an extra donation to the Christian ministry. So they stole my 6.00. No one is trying to reconcile the situation. He actually HUNG UP on me when I asked So if you were at Walmart and they over charged you, you wouldn 't want that back? He hung up on me. So this place is just taking people 's money and not appreciative of the loyal customers they have. It 's so sad bc it was my favorite thrift store. And before someone says It 's only 6.00... it 's not. It 's the other two times as well they over charged. It 's the principle. So my point in posting, pay attention if you shop there to your points and how things are rung up. All the employees that work there are so kind. Sad that their higher ups, aren 't.
Hi, used to be five stars plus and that was only three stars or less because of a lot less product, absolutely hardly any electronics it’s like they’ve been wiped out or something. The staff is new they don’t do give discounts unless you have some kind of veterans card with you. I still go here but it’s just not the same element as it was three or four months ago. It’s almost like it’s not for charity but for just personal gain. I don’t know. Very disappointed. Prices went up too. They were doing fine the way they were but now that the prices went up I just don’t see how people are donating anything because they don’t seem to have anything anymore. They should maybe go back to their Waze about four or five months ago. I’m gonna probably stop going there here in a few weeks.
